This block release course is now the only papermaking higher education course available in the UK. The Bury College HNC consists of 10 Papermaking units, and 5 Management units. On completion of this course, only one more unit is required to convert it into a HND. Both the HNC and HND are accredited by Bolton University.

HNC units

Seven of the ten papermaking units are subject to a timed examination. The remaining three papermaking units, and all five management units are assignment based.
